How do you take measurements of your items?

All measurements provided are taken with the item laying flat. Bust, waist and hip measurements are taken from side seam to seam and then doubled. Shoulder measurements are taken from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. Length measurement is taken at the back from the collar seam to the hemline. Sleeves are measured from shoulder seam to sleeve ending. As with all garments, you should compare these measurements with something that fits you well. If you don't have a comparison measurement, please allow a standard 1-2" of room above the given item measurements for ease of fit.

 

Are the sizes given on your vintage items modern day sizing?

Yes, all sizes given in the title of a listing are comparative to modern day sizing standards. We give the labeled size or tagged size of a garment in the listing itself if the item has one. Since sizing 'rules' have changed throughout the decades, please use this as a guide only. Use the actual measurements given in the listings to compare to something that fits you well. The sizing charts we used can be found here.

What are the measurements of your mannequin?

Our female manequin measures 34" - 24" - 35"

Do you combine shipments on GlamourSavvy?

Yes, all items you purchase from GlamourSavvy will reflect a combined shipping rate on your invoice.

Can we order from both GlamourSavvy & Glamoursurf and combine shipping?

Absolutely! We love to combine shipping wherever possible to save you $. Once you have put the items in your cart from both sites, just send us an email stating the items you are have put in your shopping cart and we will send you a combined invoice for all of your items.

Is your site secure?

At GlamourSavvy we honor your privacy and never share your information with anyone. If you have signed up for our newsletter, your email will not be shared. We do not collect your banking or financial information either. Your credit card purchases are processed through Authorize.net, which is a secure site and as such, we do not have access to your financial information. We also accept payments using PayPal, money orders or cashiers checks. We do not take personal checks.

We are outside of the US, can we still order from your site?

Absolutely, GlamourSavvy ships worldwide via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation. Insurance is optional and can be added to any order if desired.  International Shipments are sent with the full purchase price noted on the customs from. We do not falsify customs forms, it is a crime to do that.  We only accept PayPal payments for International transactions.
